Rough work on the core chassis and tricky front bodywork build. Intent here is to make sure the shaping is right and to find out what improvements need to be made so the surfaces build easily.

Chassis

IF this were to become a full-chassis kit, I'll also use this tub build as a method to work out attachment points for side pod structure, engine, and bodywork.

The car's distinctive nose is very intricate which makes for fiddly work at this scale. Already it's clear I have to do some redesign work to the source model to simplify the shapes, flatten some surfaces, and reduce the tabs. I will also probably add some internal structure and tab-slot strategies to help align the parts.
